Enjoy a short tour of the beautiful Villa San Michele in Anacapri. The story begins when the Swedish born doctor, Axel Munthe, first visited Capri when he was just 17 years old. He walked up the Phoenician Steps to Anacapri and as he passed the Chapel of San Michele he knew that someday he would build his home there. Years later, he came back to Capri and purchased the property and began building his villa.
